Insulated floor for Cube tents is used to keep you warm during the cold season and includes sections for ice fishing. It features a ‘sandwich’ construction with special thermal insulation material for retaining heat in the tent.

The key features of the insulated floor for the Cube tents:

  • Keeps the cold out from below – A three-layer insulated floor holds the stove’s warmth inside the tent all winter long.
  • Cut to fit your tent – Sectional pieces for Cube 2.20, Cuboid 3.60 and Cuboid 4.40, or a single whole floor for Pentagon and Hexagon models.
  • Blocks cold at the source – A foil-clad isolon between two layers of 300 PU 4000 mm Oxford fabric stops ground cold before it reaches you.
  • Softer than the ground ever will be – A soft isolon layer provides exceptional comfort.
  • Stays exactly where you put it – Frame rods lock the floor into place under the tent, so it won’t shift underfoot.
  • Packs small, carries easy – A water-resistant Oxford 210 case keeps it protected and simple to transport.

▾Manufacturing materials

The insulated floor for Cube tents has three layers:

Outer Layers: Two outer layers are made of Oxford fabric 300 with a PU coating, rated at 4000 mm.

Insulation Layer: Between these layers is a cold-blocking insulation material – foil-clad isolon.

The package is made of water-resistant Oxford fabric 210.

▾Installation

The size of the floor covers the area of the tent, including the skirt.

There are two methods of installing the insulated floor for Cube tents:

  1. First method: Place it under the tent. This method is ideal for winter use. It prevents the skirt and the standard zippered floor from freezing to the ground. It is also used in autumn for keeping the tent clean. Spread the floor and set the tent on top. When setting up Pentagon or Hexagon tent, insert the rods of the tent frame into the loops. For Cube 2.20, Cuboid 3.60 or Cuboid 4.40 tents, simply set the tent on top of the insulated floor.

  2. Second method: Place it inside the installed tent. This method is suitable for year-round use. In this case, the heated floor is placed higher than the lower part of the walls. It helps to reduce drafts and natural condensation.
