The history of PF Bereg goes back 16 years and began in 2009. As in many companies, the development and production of the first products were carried out without large investments in a small garage by two friends.

By the beginning of 2025 PF Bereg has more than 200 employees and the company’s production are established in 2 countries. Together with our customers, we were able to create a number of unique high-quality products and developed a wide dealer network of more than 20 partners, which includes North America, Scandinavia, Europe, Japan and New Zealand.

We design our products for the comfortable living of tourists, hunters, fishermen and geologists in all weather conditions – from scorching heat to extremely low temperatures.

How the company was founded

The company was founded by two fishing and hiking enthusiasts. They faced an acute problem of a shortage of high-quality hiking and fishing equipment that would meet their needs. For this reason, they founded the company in 2009, which has now become one of the leaders in its field in post-Soviet countries and a well-known brand around the world with dealers in Canada, New Zealand, and the European Union.

The main distinguishing feature of our tents is versatility. They are suitable for all seasons, reliable, and safe. Our tents have been tested in temperatures ranging from -50 to +40°C. The quality of our tents is constantly being improved based on customer requests. We also study global market trends and innovations. Our company strives to have the best technology available. Our tents also come with a 2-year warranty on the tent fabric and a 10-year warranty on the frame. Who we design our tents and airboats for

As I mentioned, this journey began with our own passion. As avid fishermen and hunters, we were constantly frustrated by the lack of high-quality gear that could meet our demands in the wilderness. So, we started creating it for ourselves. Once we achieved the desired result, we decided to produce goods for people like us – people who refuse to sacrifice comfort but want to visit hard-to-reach places in the wilderness.

What truly inspires us is the gratitude – the positive feedback and stories from our customers which enable us to continuously improve our products and create new ones.

What inspired the founding of PF Bereg

We created our products so that people could go fishing, hunting, and hiking in places that were previously inaccessible due to a lack of the necessary equipment – the equipment we now provide. We also wanted people to spend time in these places in maximum comfort in any season. Take our popular UP-5 hot tent as an example. It takes just one minute to set up. It can accommodate up to 3 people along with their equipment and a stove. Similar models from competitors take 20 minutes to set up, which makes it very difficult for customers to stay in harsh climates.

How the process of designing and testing new products works

We are constantly searching for new ideas for our products. When we find a new idea, we carefully work it out with our team of marketers, technologists, designers, and managers. Then, the engineers develop drawings of the proposed product together with the designers, who develop the frames.

Next, we manufacture several units of this product at our own manufacturing facility, which we then subject to the most rigorous testing possible – for example, we take them to the wilderness for testing in harsh climates. If the new product passes the tests, we produce a test batch. This batch is sent for testing to experts and customers interested in this product. After that, we collect feedback, based on which we make the final adjustments. Then we launch mass production of this product.

New project

With the start of supplies to the international market, a decision was made to build a second plant in Kyrgyzstan for 200 jobs with the prospect of expansion. The project was successfully implemented in 2024.
