Insulated floor for UP tents is designed to keep you warm during the cold season. It has sections for ice fishing. The floor is made of a “sandwich” type with special thermal insulation material inside. It is placed under the tent and attached with the frame rods into special holes. When you use the insulated floor, heat is retained in the tent for a longer period.

▾Manufacturing materials

The insulated floor for UP tents consists of three layers.

Two outer layers are made of Oxford fabric 300 PU 4000 mm.

Between these layers, a cold-blocking insulation material – foil-clad isolon – is used.

The bag for storing is made of water-resistant Oxford fabric 210.

▾Installation

The size of the insulated three-layer floor covers the area of the UP tent, including the skirt. There are two methods of installing the insulated floor:

First method: Install it under the tent. This method is suitable for winter use, as it prevents the skirt and the base floor with a zipper from freezing to the ground and ice. It is also useful in autumn to keep the tent clean. Spread the floor and install the tent on top. Insert the rods of the tent frame into special holes in the floor.
Second method: Insert it inside the already installed tent. This method can be used year-round. In this case, the heated floor will be positioned higher than the lower part of the walls, which helps to reduce drafts and the formation of natural condensation.
