PF Bereg Universal tent UP-5

• Two entrances of the UP-5 tent are equipped with mosquito nets and fabric entrances with zippers. A hinged frame door with Velcro can be attached to any entrance of the tent.

• Chimney with a diameter selection for use with a wood stove.

• Multifunctional viewing windows have mosquito nets and a clear cold resistant PVC window which is attached with Velcro.

• Tie-down points connected to the tent frame. They are equipped with reflective elements and pockets to store the guy lines.

• Protective skirt with loops for attaching stakes at the bottom of the tent provides reliable protection against drafts and wind.

• Shelf-mesh. Useful device for installing a flashlight and drying things.
• Spring hooks for attaching equipment.
• Pockets on the walls.
• Ventilation system and a special window at the bottom of the tent for air flow.
• Zippered spring-summer floor. It is installed at a height of 10 cm. Interchangeable with PVC floor (option).

To keep the tent warm in winter we recommend using an insulated floor, wood stove and an arctic cape (for low temperatures).

The dome-shaped and umbrella-type frame is made of 10 mm aluminum rod of aircraft alloy B95T1 (USA AA7075, in EU ENAW 7075). It is resistant to temperature effects, corrosion and deformation. The frame ensures reliability and durability. Setting up of the tent PF Bereg UP-5 takes no more than 1 minute (which is especially important in the autumn-winter period).

The manufacturer’s warranty on the frame is 10 years.

The dome-umbrella design provides several advantages:

• Allows you to stand at full height and ensures freedom of movement;
• Minimal accumulation of precipitation on the tent;
• The streamlined shape provides additional stability during gusts of wind.
  
  

The outer fly of the PF Bereg UP-5 tent is made of high-tech Oxford 300 fabric with water-repellent PU 4000 impregnation. It is connected to the frame with reliable, wide Velcro fasteners made of PVC material. The fasteners are located at the folds and protect the tent against mechanical damage.

The seams of the tent flies of the PF Bereg tent are sealed with a special tape, which provides extra protection against moisture.

The inner fly of the tent is made of Oxford 210 fabric with water-repellent PU 2000 impregnation. It is connected to the frame with fabric Velcro fasteners, so it is easy to remove for to lighten the tent’s weight. The inner fly is equipped with a fully removable zippered floor, which is installed above the ground surface. The floor prevents freezing in cold conditions and protects against moisture during rain or melting snow.

An “air gap” is created between the two layers, which minimizes condensation and effectively keeps heat inside the tent.

PF Bereg UP-5 is an all-season tent. You can use it with long-burning stoves and other heating equipment. For the safety and protection of the inner fly we use a removable, durable heat-resistant wall in the place where the stove is used. The wall can withstand high temperatures. There is a chimney section for the output of wood stove pipes in the upper part of the UP-5 tent.

The chimney section is made of a heat-resistant fabric and has a pocket for a special metal insert with a hole of the required diameter for wood stove pipes.

The following stoves are recommended for use with the PF Bereg UP-5: Atom or Fireplace Large size, Vector or Satellite stove

Vestibule-connector creates additional storage space for items, shoes or firewood. It also serves as a link for connecting to an optional main vestibule (2×2, 3×2 or 4×2 m). The vestibule-connector is equipped with a frame, mosquito nets and tension rope. It is attached with a zipper over the main entrance to the tent UP-5.

Insulated floor is designed to keep you warm during the cold season. It has a section for ice fishing. The floor is made of a “sandwich” type with special thermal insulation material. It is used under the tent and is attached with the beams of the frame into special holes.

PVC floor is designed for the heavy rainfall season. It is made of rubberized fabric. The 100% waterproof PVC floor is used instead of the spring-summer floor from the basic set and fastened with a zipper above the ground.

Arctic cape is used in extremely low temperatures (below -25°С). The cape duplicates the main tent. It has windows, a main entrance and chimney. It consists of a layer of Oxford 300 fabric with water-repellent impregnation and an additional layer of insulation.

Additional hinged frame door eliminates the need for zippers when entering and exiting the tent through the second entrance. It is attached with Velcro.
