Description

â–¾Outer features
  • Folding legs feature perforations to prevent overheating of the metal and plastic plugs to protect the floor from damage.
  • Rotating disc with a metal mesh for air supply simplifies the ignition process and helps to regulate the fire’s intensity. The disc also facilitates complete combustion of the firewood.
  • Protective screens are located at the bottom and on the back wall. The lower screen prevents ice and snow from melting under the tent in winter, while the rear screen reduces the impact of high temperatures on the tent.
  • Heat-resistant ceramic glass insert in the door allows for visual controlling the fuel level and provides additional lighting in the tent.
  • Metal cables stabilize chimney pipes. The pipe fixation system prevents the shaking of chimney during wind gusts.
  • Side folding grills with supports increase the cooking surface area and are used for heating food or storing pots or kettles.
â–¾Inner features
  • Spark arrester is located inside the firebox and divides it into two parts. It increases the burning time of firewood to 6-8 hours, positively affects heat distribution in the tent and protects the outer fly from sparks.
  • Total argon welding of firebox seams enhances tightness.
  • Stiffening ribs are made for increasing the lifespan of the stove.
  • Seal improves tightness of the stove and ensures efficient combustion.
  • Protective insert prevents ember from falling when the door is opened for adding firewood.

â–¾Manufacturing materials

The PF Bereg Satellite stove is made of AISI 430 stainless heat-resistant steel with a thickness of 0.8 mm. This metal is characterized by high corrosion resistance, resistance to temperature changes and reliability of its welds. The 0.8 mm wall thickness strikes the right balance between long service life and the weight of the tent stove.

To increase the tightness of the firebox, the seams are welded using argon. The manufacturer offers a 3-year warranty against the burn-through of the stove.

â–¾Heating

PF Bereg tents feature a chimney section at the upper part, made of heat-resistant fabric. It includes a pocket for a specialized metal insert with an opening of the appropriate diameter for wood stove pipes. This chimney is designed for the output of stove pipes.

The Satellite stove set includes a fire-resistant mat, an essential item for using a stove in a tent. The mat protects the tent floor against heating and falling sparks. Its fabric is non-flammable, non-toxic and moisture-resistant. The fabric does not stretch or degrade under the influence of liquids.

The stove set also includes gloves for handling hot items. Always use them when opening the stove door or touching the stove body.

The following tents are recommended for use with the PF Bereg Satellite stove: Cuboid 3.60, Cuboid 4.40, Pentagon, Hexagon, UP-5, UP-5 Deluxe, UP-7.

â–¾Additional options

Water tank is used for heating water during travel. You can order a 12-liter water tank with an 80 mm output for connecting to pipes. It is equipped with a ball valve and a bag for storage and transport. The tank is made of AISI 430 stainless steel with 1 mm thickness.

Swivel bend is designed to adjust the position of the chimney pipe inside the tent or to provide protection from wind and rain as a final segment above the tent.

Composite pipe extends the length of the chimney. It can be used if the tent is too tall, and the pipes from the stove set are not enough for the output from the tent.

Insulated pipe segment is of a sandwich-type construction, featuring a protective screen around it. Made from heat-resistant stainless steel, the insulated pipe segment serves as the first pipe in the chimney to provide protection from burning.
