PF Bereg Universal tent UP-2 Mini

Outer features UP-2 mini hot tent is a 2 person tent with stove jack:

• Rectangular entrance of the tent comes with a hinged frame door attached with Velcro.

• Chimney for use with a wood stove. You can choose a diameter of a chimney insert.

• Multifunctional windows features a mosquito net and a clear cold resistant PVC window. The transparent window is attached with Velcro.

• Tie-down points are connected to the tent frame. They feature reflective elements and pockets to store the guy lines.

• Protective skirt with pull-out loops for pegs helps protect against snow and rain.

• Zipper for fixing vestibule connector.

• Shelf-mesh. Useful device for installing a flashlight and drying items.
• Spring hooks for attaching equipment.
• Pockets located on the walls.
• Ventilation system with a special window at the bottom of the tent to promote airflow.
• Zippered spring-summer floor. Installed at a height of 10 cm and interchangeable with PVC floor (optional).

In winter, use an insulated floor that blocks the cold from the ground and keeps the tent warm.

The frame is constructed from 8 mm rods of B95T1 aviation aluminum alloy (in USA AA7075, in EU ENAW 7075), renowned for its high frost resistance and durability. It can withstand significant mechanical loads and returns to its original shape even after extended exposure.

The special frame design allows for tent setup in just 1 minute, and the manufacturer offers a 10-year warranty.

The dome-umbrella design offers several advantages:

• Allows for standing at full height, ensuring freedom of movement;
• Minimizes the accumulation of precipitation on the tent;
• The streamlined shape provides stability during gusts of wind.

The tent flies. Outer fly is made of durable Oxford 300 DEN fabric with moisture-resistant PU 4000 mm impregnation. The outer fly connects to the frame using reliable PVC Velcro. They are wide and located at the bends to prevent the arches from folding and protect the tent fly from mechanical damage.

Inner fly is made of Oxford 210 DEN fabric with moisture-resistant PU 2000 mm impregnation. The inner fly is attached to the frame with textile Velcro, making it easy to remove for cleaning or to reduce the overall weight of the equipment. All seams are sealed with special tape for enhanced protection against moisture.

An “air gap” between the two flies reduces the amount of condensation and effectively retains heat in the tent.

PF Bereg UP-2 Mini is an all-season tent. You can use it with long-burning stoves and other heating equipment. To ensure safety and protect the inner fly, it features a removable, durable heat-resistant wall in the area where the stove is used. This wall can withstand high temperatures. The upper part of the UP-2 Mini tent includes a chimney section for the output of wood stove pipes. The chimney section is made of heat-resistant fabric and features a pocket for a special metal insert with a hole of the required diameter for wood stove pipes.

The following stoves are recommended for use with the PF Bereg UP-2 Mini: Atom or Fireplace Small size.

Vestibule connector creates additional storage space for items, shoes or firewood. It also serves as a link to connect to an optional main vestibule (2×2, 3×2 or 4×2 m). The vestibule-connector is equipped with a frame, mosquito nets and a tension rope. It is attached with a zipper over the main entrance to the UP-2 Mini tent.

Insulated floor is designed to keep you warm during the cold season. It features sections for ice fishing. This floor is a “sandwich” construction with special thermal insulation material. It is placed under the tent and is attached to the beams of the frame into special holes.

PVC floor is designed for heavy rainfall seasons. Made of rubberized fabric, this 100% waterproof PVC floor replaces the spring-summer floor from the basic set and is fastened with a zipper above the ground.
